Overview

Captured by game sound design expert, Stephan Schütze, this library includes room tones and impulse responses from over 140 unique rooms in spaces in four different locations. The included Visual Reference Guide provides details of each space recorded including images and room dimensions to assist in selecting the most suitable sounds for your projects.
Each ambience recording is approximately five minutes long and was captured at 24-bit/96kHz with a quad array of DPA 4023 microphones routed into a Sound Devices 788ST SSD. Each recorded space includes an impulse response recording generated by firing a started pistol in the recording space, also captured in 4-channel surround.
