Created by Oscar®-winning sound artist Mark Mangini (Dune, Blade Runner 2049), this library bursts with speed, style, and state-of-the-art tech for modern-day and sci-fi sound design.

Feel the power of the Lightning LS-218, a high-performance superbike with a 200-horsepower engine capable of blazing speed and acceleration, or go for style with the Lightning Strike C Carbon Edition: a sleek, modern ride built for comfort and efficiency. Both sets include a range of synchronized, multichannel onboard and external recordings capturing the full range of futuristic sounds, from high-powered engine whines to gentle humming, high-speed maneuvers, and more.

Onboard mics positioned on the wheels, drive belt, handlebars, cockpit, and magneto (ignition system) give you a variety of isolated sounds and unique textures to play with. External recordings include aways, bys, returns, and maneuvers from 10 to 130 mph – all captured in synchronized stereo from multiple perspectives. Beyond electric vehicles, these recordings are ideal for a wide range of sound design applications – from futuristic spacecraft and sci-fi propulsion to industrial machinery, fantasy tech, and other electric-powered devices.
