The Sonomar Collection: Pianos library series began with a curious question: What new and unconventional sounds can be made with a piano for use in sound design? The result is enigmatic piano sound effects exploring the resonant sonic properties of various pianos to create suspense and tension in your projects.
Created by sound artist Martin Pinsonnault (CODA, Dallas Buyers Club) and the Sonomar team, the Designed Piano demonstrates the limitless possibilities of these raw piano recordings captured at 192kHz using contact mics and an MKH-8040. Blur the line between music and sound design with expressive sound effects pitched and processed at 96kHz ready to drag-and-drop directly into your projects.
